I choose this image because i find it is stereotypical. The image is stereotyping rich people being followed by paparazzi. There are two girls in the image and they are celebrities. The message i get across from this image is celebrities or wealthy people all shop at high end boutiques andare the only types or people that are followed by the paparazzi. Also that it seems like these girls love being the center on attention and just might think that they are better then everyone else. In reality you cannot stereotype every wealthy person to have this attitude!
The stereotypical message that I get is that women shop- and that shopping is a "celebrity" activity. Are women good for anything else than shopping and looking "sexy"? can't women be thinkers? And while the photo shows that the women in question are in a power position- what power do the represent?- the power of shopping and consuming? And where does that leave the planet? are there endless resources...
